TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All saddles sold through us include

  • A 7 day trial is available see conditions below.

  • Please check all measurements provided against your horse & your current saddle as this is why we provide measurements  and understand it's unlikely either a new or used saddle will just fit your horse so a Saddle fitter will usually need to make an adjustment. We spend alot of time & care wrapping & sending saddles back & forth is both costly and & time-consuming. Please purchase wisely.Will note in the listing if the Saddle is or isnt available for trial as below:

  • Purchaser must pay the full price of the saddle prior to release of saddle.

  • If the saddle is not suitable - the purchase price will be refunded less a $59 admin-packaging-re-cleaning  fee & card changes ARE NOT refundable nor is postage. This applies to returns in person & via post. 

  • If you cancel the order prior to saddle being sent there is a $59 cancellation admin fee & bank fees are non-refundable as we dont get them returned.

  • Refunds will be paid within 48 hours by us - however STRIPE & your bank can take longer to show returned money.

  • Trial saddles accepted payments :

    • 1. Cash

    • 2. Bank deposit /OSKO please pay immediately after check-out.

    • 3. Card -we cannot return the bank charges should you choose card-the bank keeps these.

  • Postage to be paid by purchaser & can be added at the check-out.

  • Return post  will be the responsibility of the customer -saddles to be returned on original wrapping/box. Return label can be emailed to you for print-out if needed.

  • If you are picking up the saddle pick-up must be within 48 hours of purchase. Please make pick up appt as soon as your have gone through check-out via phone or via our web-site. ​

                                        LAY-BY OPTION

  • 4 or 8 week lay-by avail

  • We will send contract please ask for this we email it.

  • Re-payments are  weekly or fortnightly from the day of purchase.

  • No trails on saddles or Refunds on lay by saddles.

  • When you enter into a lay-by contract we pay the saddle seller out on your behalf & we are not charging you interest for the 4 or 8 weeks..If you do need to cancel in extreme circumstances a 25% cancellation fee will be applicable to the saddle price plus a $50 admin fee.

Terms of SADDLE TRIALS

Seven day return policy

  1. Saddles out on trial must be returned in the condition they were recieved. Each saddle is extensively photographed prior to postage.  Please keep saddles covered and safe at all times as we do not except damaged saddles back.​

  2. The saddle is completely the buyers responsibility while on trial.

  3. The trial begins on the day the saddle arrives via courier or Australia Post. If the saddle is being picked up from SAP it must be picked up within 48 hours of purchase.

  4. The saddle will need to be returned if not suitable within 7 days.  For example, if picked up on a Saturday it will need to be returned by the Friday (7 days)If the saddle isn't suitable earlier please inform us its returning via our web-site & a tracking number provided..If the saddle is dropped off or posted day 8 onwards it returns as a consignment saddle .​

  5. These terms are NOT negotiable.

 

 

How to Sell

  1. Please read our terms here.

  2. Submit Saddle to Sell form-this needs to be properly filled out with ALL INFORMATION & photos including what price you are wanting/year of the saddle & details.

  3. We will assess and agree on  price & if we can take the saddle. This will depend on what we have in stock at the time and if we think we can sell it.

  4. We are retailers of second hand saddles so there needs to be a profit margin in the saddle for it to be on-sold , so you will be offered a WHOLESALE price.If you would like to get retail & wait then you will get more money via consignment.

  5. We'll send you a postage label & recommend how to pack it. You send the saddle.

  6. Once we receive the saddle it will be cleaned, photographed and listed for sale.

We have over 35 years' experience in the horse industry and will give you a fair wholesale offer/buy price.​  If you have a price in mind let us know and we'll assess the saddle to reach an agreement.
 

Upon agreement we will send you a postage label & some easy instructions on how to best send the saddle. We pay for the saddle once it it arrives  "as described".  Payment will be by direct transfer into your bank account within  48 hours (it may take a day or two to show at your end or can be instant this will depend on the banks. We do it this way to protect our business against scammers - it is the safest way for both parties.
 

  • We only buy saddles from Australia .

  • We only buy/consign saddles in good condition.

  • Saddle to be $500 + or more in value.

  • No Indian leather

  • Please send your saddle in clean (or request a make-over clean for $35 if it is mouldy/filthy). We give them a basic clean which is included.

This is the simplest method. Quick & easy and can allow you to buy another saddle you are looking at if you need to sell to buy.

We pay 60-70% of the current estimated selling price. 

 

We can save you the hassle of scammers, we deal with buyers, we clean & present the saddle & do professional photos. Low hassle & you can secure the saddle you want!

Trade-in

Consign

We sell on your behalf

Usually this option pays you more money. We market the saddle via our site & social media etc under a 3-month conttract.

The saddle is usually sold within 3 months & will auto-renew unless seller cancels.The  less popular saddles can take longer.

The saddle is to be exclusively for sale by us for the contract time.

If the saddle is taken back prior to the three months you will incur a $99 fee (plus cleaning fee if requested).

After three months you can re-call the saddle (a $60 fee to cover admin/photography etc will apply).

Otherwise we will continue to market the saddle until sold.

 

Our comission: 

 20% on saddles $1000 & under 

 15% on saddles $1001 & over

What's included for saddles on consignment

  • Insurance whilst in our care-from when the saddle arrives our premise  to when it leaves our premise.

  • Cleaning & conditioning ***see below for inclusions

  • Photo session & editing of photos

  • Marketing & detailed advertising via our website, Facebook, Instagram & other sites.

  • Taking saddles to clients if local fit on their horse (we offer this to locals for a nominal fee to them)

+++We include basic cleaning & conditioning...if the saddle arrives dirty/mouldy it will attract a $35 fee which will be deducted from sale price or you can book for it to be cleaned & conditioned/oiled .

Shipping Policy

How We Do It

We send saddles Australia wide using Australia Post or a suitable courier .

We don't ship overseas at this stage.

All parcels will require a signature on delivery.

​

A flat rate of $80 is offered per saddle AUSTRALIA WIDE.

​

Pick up is also available -Gold Coast QLD

​

One saddle per box/order.

​

If you would like to try two or more saddles  please place separate orders.

Or if the first saddle doesnt fit then a second choice can be purchased at any time.
