Saddle to Sell - CONSIGNMENT ONLY

We offer a simple and straightforward process for selling your saddle, whether you're looking to sell outright or enquire about other available options such as consignment.

Please complete the form below with as much detail as possible, including the price you have in mind. The more information you provide, the easier it is for us to assess your saddle and determine the most suitable option.

Please note: Consignment is offered in select circumstances and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Before submitting your saddle, we kindly ask that you spend some time thoroughly cleaning it and ensure a saddle cover is provided. A well-presented saddle helps us accurately assess its condition and prepare it for sale. Saddles submitted without a cover may incur a $25 replacement fee.

We only accept saddles located within Australia.

Before submitting, please ensure your saddle meets the following criteria:

✔ Branded (stamped with a maker's name or badge)

✔ Manufactured in 2010 or later

✔ Current value of $500 or more

✔ In good condition

✔ No known structural defects

✔ Not made from Indian leather

Brands we are not currently accepting:

Seabis, Henri de Rivel, St Lourdes, Eurosport, Tekna, Horselines, HP (Horse Problems), Status, Kincade

Selling Options:

Sell Outright (Recommended)

The quickest and easiest way to sell your saddle. We purchase your saddle directly and pay you a wholesale price (typically 60–70% of its expected resale value).

Paid within 24 hours once the saddle is received and approved

Example:

If your saddle is likely to sell for $2,000, you can expect an offer of around $1,200-$1,400. Consignment

We market the saddle via our site and social media on a 6-month contract. The saddle is usually sold within 6-months and will auto renew unless seller cancels. The less popular saddles can take longer.

The saddle is to be exclusively for sale by us for the contract time.

If the saddle is taken back prior to the 6-months you will incur a $99 fee (plus cleaning fee if requested).

Our commission: 20% for all saddles

Why wholesale pricing?

As a retail business, we purchase at wholesale rates to cover cleaning, marketing, handling and resale costs - while still offering you a fair and competitive price.

Saddle Details:

The serial number will help us accurately value your saddle. All Arena, Collegiate, Bates, Cavaletti, Loxley, Trainers, PDS,  Pessoa, Prestige, Erreplus, Peter Horobin, & Wintec saddles have serial numbers that tell us the age - you MUST add the serial number below.

Does it have an "Easy Change" gullet? ( it does not require a fitter to alter, the gullet unscrews eg  new Bates , Trainers, Pessoa. 

Current gullet size, if easy change, select the gullet that's currently fitted.

Have a thorough look over the whole saddle, run your fingers along the cantle to feel for nicks, look in good light to see if there is any wear etc.  List  ALL scuffs , scratches, wear and faded areas. Do not assume we will see them in your photos, we need to know where to look. If none please write NONE.

To help us accurately value your saddle attach a copy of the original purchase receipt. 

if no receipt is supplied we will estimate the age and original price and use this to work out a selling price.

If the saddle is still under warranty we will also pass on a copy to the new owner. 

Including a receipt may increase the chance of it being priced higher.  

(The highest we ever value is 25% below its orignal new price, to achieve this it needs to have been made in the last three years and still like new, no signs of use at all.)

IF THE FIRST SIX PICTURES ARE NOT INCLUDED YOUR FORM WILL NOT BE LOOKED AT.
